Tell your husband about the University of Maryland study. I am not certain of the date but if you want to research more on it since a good deal of the study had to do with the war in Iraq it should coincide with the time frame up to and at the invasion.
Anyway the study found that a significantly higher percentage of Fox News Viewers went around with either completely or partially false information about the war in Iraq. That means significantly higher than a similar number of viewers of other major news sources.
Please do not go on what I am telling you as I do not have the study memorized but it was extremely interesting to find the bottom line that a significantly higher proportion of Americans were wrong on their conclusions on the war if they got their news from Fox News "Fair and Balanced" as compared to similar groups of people that got their news from other major news sources. "Fair and Balanced"? Yeah right. That's like saying Bush's intellect is both fair and balanced.
A google search should do it for you. Then you could tell hubby that the stupidest people in the country watch Fox news.
