humbugs check in-- who's finding the early xmas threads...
...annoying already? Back to work, Mr. Cratchit!

"A poor excuse for picking a man's pocket every twenty-fifth of December!" said Scrooge, buttoning his great-coat to the chin. "But I suppose you must have the whole day. Be here all the earlier next morning."

--Charles Dickens

5. They started selling trees last week here
I love Xmas, apart from the divorced part, but jesus, lighten up and wait til after Thanksgiving. Everybody buy Por Vida, the tribute to Alejandro Escoveda, who needs a liver transplant. Stevie Earle, Cowboy Junkies, Lucinda Williams, John Cale, Los Lonely Boys and much more doing Alejandro's songs. If you are not familiar with him, he does everything from orchestral to country to punk to love songs. He is a genius. $15 and $3 goes directly to Alejandro and more indirectly for the publishing.

My cause for the next few months.
