however, I agree, and for me it's just the male/female sub-text that I don't like, because I rather enjoy it when it is every man or woman for themselves. The whole purpose of survivor is back-stabbing, coniving, etc, and when people are unified over something as bland as gender their personalities don't come out as much.

Rupert was my favorite, and I didn't mind Sandra winning that one, of everyone there.

28. Serious shark jumpage, this time.

I've been watching Survivor for a long time & feel they really jumped the shark with this batch. The reward challenges have been lame. Pringles for a reward? Yeah, sign me up. After how many days without good water & they feed me salty Pringles? And what's this with the coffee maker on a tropical island???? You can see the freaking power cord go off camera. Burnett, spare us from any more cheesy product placements.
As far as the tribes go. Where did they find this bunch? Did they ever WATCH before signing on? The suck at strategy. Got to admit that if the ladies manage to pull it off, it might be fun to watch them devour themselves. I would really hate to see Ami or Eliza any where near the top. Nothing like being rewarded for bad behavior.

29. I agree. The product placements are seriously annoying.

I suspect this show is not going how Burnett would like it. With the hot young guys getting kicked off first, there's no possibilities for romance on the island (which there always seems to be). I'm hoping the final few episodes are interesting. I suspect there will be a major falling out amongst the younger women that are left.
