Listening to the "House of Blues" Radio hour. Don't know if that'll frighten fundies or not. Hey, by the way, why the hell aren't we in church right now? It's Sunday, dammit! Are we all a bunch of godless friggin' Liberals or something? Now I feel better. They can come and save my soul because I use such foul language and ain't in church. Although I like AC/DC, it doesn't compare to death metal when it comes to frightening fundies.

Try some Morbid Angel or Carcass... or Obituary, or early Slayer. Napalm Death. Entombed.

Playing any of this in my dorm would get the floor's fundie weirdo outside my door praying on her hands and knees, muttering to jeezus.

Check out Fear Factory or Lamb of God! I'm just in a retro kick right now. None of my ACDC that I am currently listening to is post '81. Most of it is the Bonn Scott era.

9. a funny story of no import (for those who care)...

a few yars ago, my wife and i were in the market for a house. one we were considering buying was across the street from a fundy church. they constantly blocked peoples driveways on sundays with their SUV's etc. when we were discussing the pros and cons of such a move, we decided that if we DID buy it, we were going to perform a "skit" every so often for the benefit of the arriving church-goers, just to make sure they stayed as far away as possible...

ME: (outside, wife-beater undershirt, unshaven, beer in hand) I HATE YOU EARLEEN! I HATE YOU AND YER HI_FALUTIN' JOB...

HER: (inside at open window) TAKE YER STUFF AND GIT! (throwing items out of window) I DON"T NEED YOU!

ME: EARLEEN, PLEASE! I LUV YOU!

etc etc etc

Fortunately, we found another comparable (better even) house.
