2. Anything from Columbia. Actually, while I loate 21JS, there's worse...
They'll cram up to 10 1/2hr episodes on one disc and then blame it on the source tapes. And I quote: "original video elements may contain digital anomalies or defects".

Uh, Columbia, stop smokin' it. The original video has been stored on an ANALOG medium. While the effects of aging have had a small effect, the digital conversion and compression is far more disconcerting.


TV shows gone too far is when they release the apprentice, simple life, and other bogus 'reality' shows.

That's just plain sick. Is there a nice, short, tidy term for a "lazy, docile, willfully/blissfully ignorant, sociopolitical deaf/mute"?

If there is, let me know...I'll need it for when I must reference this "audience".

And, no, it's not "republican". That's too easy. Sadly, it's bigger than that.
