10. Really?
I was a fan of the "Mr. Bean" show, but since the "Mr. Bean" movie was the first and only movie I have ever walked out on, I decided to skip this one because it was an Atkinson film...I did love him in Blackadder though..

23. Me too. And the part that tore my heart was when the kid goes.... "I
know you're not Santa, I just thought you'd buy me a present because you were my friend." What a moment. Lots of folks didnt like that film. I did. It was not perfect but plenty of laffs. I'm not a Bernie Mac fan. He always seems over the top -- like he's acting.

9. A few come to mind
This Is Spinal Tap
Waiting for Guffman
Best in Show

and I wasn't as thrilled by A Mighty Wind as I hoped I would be... but Fred Willard totally made it worthwhile! (I loved the punchline to the mayor joke... "Yer on her!")

41. Waiting for Guffman was wonderful
You people are just bastard people. That's what you are.

I also loved Spinal Tap, especially the reminiscing about the dead drummer (choked on someone else's vomit, police said it was better left uninvestigated) and the 18" Stonehenge and the breaking-free from the embryo scene.

12. Python's "Life of Brian" and "Holy Grail" and I also love some of the old
Hepburn/Tracy classics. Even the somewhat dramatic ones had some GREAT humor.
"Desk Set" was hilarious, and "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" had some fo my favorites.

Hepburn/O'Toole in "Lion in Winter" had some great lines as well. Not a funny movie at all, but some real biting humor in the dialog.

Yeah OK, I'm weird.

And "South Park: Bigger Longer Uncut" had me in stitches! So no, not a movie snob here!

19. Raising Arizona and The Jerk
Or maybe the mythologies have just grown in my mind, but to me, EVERY line in Raising Arizona is good for a laugh.

"Sir, you might want to wash your hands at this point..."

The Jerk, too... just pure stupid brilliance from start to finish.

"Things are going to start happening for me now!"
(phone book flips open)
"Johnson, Navin R. -- typical random bastard."

61. Monty Python & the Holy Grail
Too many funny movies out there for me to pick one, but I guess I’ll go with my old favorite: “Monty Python & the Holy Grail”

“Help Help! I’m being repressed! Come see the violence inherent in the system.”

“Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. If I went around claiming I was an emperor because some moistened bink lobbed a scimitar at me, they’d put me away…”

“But I don’t like her…” – “how can you not like her, she’s rich, she’s beautiful, she’s got huge… tracts of land”

“How do you know she’s a witch?” – “she looks like one”
“she turned me into a newt” – “a newt?” – “I got better.”

And, who can forget Castle Anthrax with scores of young women between 16 and 19 ½?
