help out a newbie... how do i put a picture in my post?

2. the photo has to be on the web somewhere

like photobucket, then just cut and paste the link (right click go to "properties" copy (cntrl "C") then paste into your message (cntrl "V") )

3. If it is on a news site, for example, just right-click for properties

and cut n paste the URL.

But if it is on a personal site, you are better off putting a link to the page rather than the pic so you don't run up their bandwidth costs.

4. Also,

when doing HTML tags, use the square brackets that are just to the right of the P key. The first one to the right to start the tag, and the next one to close it. They show up as carats in the post.

All those times I have posted pictures using brackets, and not needed them. Wow, I could have saved enough time to write a novel or cure a disease.
