Quizno's Subs are the food of the gods..... |
|
Seriously. I just finished their new Philly Cheez Steak sub, and all I can say is that was the BEST sandwich I've had in a REALLY long time. It's even the best Quizno's sandwich I've had. And every previous sandwich I thought was the best was a Quizno's sub. DON'T EVEN get me started on their broccoli cheez soup. I just finished off every last bit of it, and it was like I was addicted to it, such is the case whenever I have their broccoli cheez soup. I've limited my Quizno's trips to once a week tho, so I don't put on any of the weight that I lost. And my weekly trip to Quizno's is a REAL treasure to me.
:toast: So, here's to YOU, Quizno's!!! :toast:

1. I had one of their vegetarian subs a couple weeks ago |
|
and I was just bowled over by how big and tasty it was!
They loaded so many mushrooms onto it that it almost looked like a roast beef sandwich when they were done with it. Even better is that they have all kinds of peppers too, not just jalapenos and pepperocinis. It's just a shame that they're almost $8.00 for a large, because if I could I'd eat there a LOT!

Those veggies are good! A little heavy on the olives for my taste, but the sub is so big it is usually 2 meals!

I wish Playboy would do a women of Quizno's feature. Start with my local one and the punk rock girl who snarls at me when I order my Honey Bacon Swiss on wheat.

... the cheesesteak was a disappointment. Not a bad sandwich, but not a phily cheesesteak.

6. I'm a Midwesterner, so tastes vary. |
|
I haven't been to Philly before, so if I had one there, I'd probably be pleaantly surprised. But this sub was the BEST considering my timid, Midwestern pallette.

7. Quizno's is pretty good, |
|
but I prefer Jimmy John's if I'm in the mood for a cold sandwich (which is often). I know the commercials sing the praises of hot sandwiches, but I really like cold ones better.
