3. There's not much to be positive about

We're going to get screwed over on taxes and could have serious and permanent damage done to the progressiveness of the tax code and God knows what's the next country our psychotic president will invade next. Tell, me what there is to be positive about in the world of politics.

4. I am positive about everything

even after one day of grieving on Nov. 4th I got up and said *okay enough of that we are gonna kick some butt in 2006 and that is currently what I am working on. It keeps me going

My personal favorite is noir fiction from the 1930's and 1940's -- Dashiel Hammett, Raymond Chandler, and their 1990's progeny James Ellroy. Also movies. There's literature, and Beethoven, or Santana if you're not into classical music. Mozart's string quartets. Philip K. Dick's science fiction novels.

College football. High school football.

Shakespeare. Try Henry V.

You'll find something.

11. 10,000 lawyers DO NOT SPEAK FOR KERRY!

I am tired of everyone acting like everything a lawyer says is a direct quote from Kerry! The only statements Kerry himself has made is that they are still fighting to have every vote count.

I am suspicious of all these people telling us that we shouldn't support our future president because a lawyer in Ohio said something bad...

14. I'm Positive

how can you NOT be! Look at the great group here. Look at everyone coming together! Our opinions may be at odds with some of the rest but we have MOTIVATION! Look at what has been accomplished in a short time!
People have risen from much graver cirucmstances, it's time to stand strong. Reach deep inside ourselves & find out what we are made of.
You can sulk all you want on private time, but after that is done, be ready to stand up tall & be positive! We all have our down moments, we just need to pick each other up, come on - we are doing GREAT! We are making a difference.
