I thought today was Monday and I missed all of my classes
I missed my classes today and my next class starts in 15 mins.

I haven't been able to sleep since election night.

OMG What am I going to do. My grade is going to be lowered by one grade now.

I had a project due today and my lab partner left a message on my answering machine and that is when I noticed that it was Tuesday.

Depression plays an unkind joke on people sometimes.

:argh:  :argh:

1. Maybe Your Lab TA is a Democrat...
If you were in my lab, I'd give you a break.

I'm behind in my work as well, attributable to the election, although I haven't given that excuse to my advisor. So is the grad student who works across the hall from me. He said he couldn't make himself work at all last weekend even though he was swamped because he was worried about everything going on in the US/world.

Depression, Anxiety, and Irresponsibility: They're not just for undergrads anymore! (tm)

2. She is a democrat
She said that she was in shock about the election when I met with her last week to work on our project.

I called the crisis center at my College and left a message.

My check for living expenses is in today. I don't know how I could have missed a day I needed that check and you can only pick them up on Tuesdays. :argh:

3. Do what I did in college...
...always go by your teachers offices and make it a point to kiss their ass every once in awhile. Trust me, it'll make a good letter grade difference at the end of the semester!

4. Interior design, right?
Edited on Tue Nov-16-04 09:50 PM by fudge stripe cookays
So what types of stuff are you studying right now?

You said lab partner-- are you doing the 3-d mockups of rooms with swatches and renderings, or....

Are you learning about the types of furniture, like going through the older eras and styles like Chippendale, or are you concentrating on newer stuff like Breuer chairs, Mies van der Rohe and that type of thing?

I'm curious. I used to be an interior design major years ago, before they started using computers for everything. Just didn't have the gift.

You should talk to your prof. She sounds like she'd be cool enough.
