I quit 10/29/03 and was sooooo good. I cheated a few times, but mostly didn't smoke for a whole year.
Then came November 2, 2004. A day that will live in infamy. A day that marked the continuation of American Fascism. A day that overall just plain sucked ass.
I smoked. And I have been smoking ever since. (except for yesterday when I tried to quit again)
And I am drinking beer, too.
