4. I once had a ST screensaver...
It had the soundtrack and dialog of many scenes. The strangest one was one that had a pulse:

"Dum...dum....dum.... he's dead, Jim." It was creepy when it came on when I was working alone late at night.

Of course the chirping tribbles were also pretty weird!

12. From a damned 70's hippie
My family was quite uncool, so never ever watched ST as a child. Became addicted in HS when on afternoon rerun.

The ST genre really lost its soul and integrity after Roddenberry died, imho.

14. First episode I ever saw
was the first broadcast of "The Menagerie". ST was on at 10pm, so it was rare that I would be up that late (I was 10). That episode scared the Hell out of me. Little fiends with huge heads that pulsed and they communicated telepathically. Then I found out Malachi Throne (played the head fiend) was a woman! No wonder I was so sexually confused as a child.

26. she was taken out of that role
because a woman as the second in command was waaaaaaaaaaay too 'J Jackson titty' in the day. so she became the blonde bombshell nurse, Nurse Chappell in TOS. Married the Boss.

You'll see her in some role or capacity in virtually everything he did.
