1. My favorite (don't know the name) was where Picard's consciousness
Edited on Tue Nov-16-04 11:06 PM by DuaneBidoux
was taken by a probe and he lived an entire life in 20 minutes on a planet that was dying because of their sun. I thought it was just the coolest concept, and then he gets back to the ship and he has the little flute and he carries with him always this special ability to play these songs, and he carries with them all the changes and growth that that entire life brought him.

(now imagine a Freeper even considering this).

4. My favorite also.
It has a sadness that's unlike most things ever on TV. It's clear he really did live an entire lifetime, and is clearly transformed by it.

I haven't a clue what the names are of any episodes.

2. Darmok - and Gelad - at Tenagra
The crew is mystified as to how to communicate with the new race. Eventually, Picard discovers that they speak in metaphor.
(please insert appropriate Zell Miller joke here)

They learn that by sharing stories, they can find common ground to communicate with one another.

I hope we can learn something from that - it gives me hope.

8. Don't remember which ones they were...
but my favorite two are:

-the one where Tasha Yar dies

and

-the one where Wesley meets a girl and has a crush on her but turns out she's some sort of alien. I had a huge crush on him back then. LOL!

11. I'll go with Unification, for dear sweet Spock
When Leonard Nimoy is paired up with Patrick Stewart instead of William Shatner, he's actually quite the actor! ;)
