10. In IV
I'm a sophomore. I lived in FT last year. I hated it. Have you had the stupid alarms go off in the middle of the night yet?

14. Yeah they have
They went off last night actually, around 3 AM. What's worse was that it was the second time this year. Ugh. But other than that, I like living in FT, its not that bad.

16. Winter quarter
of last year. Somebody discovered the fire alarm and it went off AT LEAST once a week. One time it went off 3 times in one night. I don't get it. It's not that entertaining.

23. Yay UC schools!
OK, I'm a graduate of two UC schools and not currently in school, but I had to chime in. I grew up in San Juan Capistrano, Forever Free, not too far from Mission Viejo at all... now I live in the Smokies in NCarolina.

But I digress. UCSanDiego for B.A.; UCLA for J.D. Excellent education. You two enjoy your time in Santa Barbara!

24. Yay
It's all about the UC schools (in spite of the fact that the prices are exorbitant, but that's beside the point). The point is, that I feel I'm getting a good education.

30. yeah, I've read that fees have gone up a lot...
I went thru in the '90s when it was much less costly... but still, if you have Ca. residence status, it's much cheaper than an equivalent degree from an Ivy League and once you get past the intro-level, 300+ student classes, the education is just as good, if not better.

I think I would have not majored in PoliSci and instead focused on foreign languages, but that's just me.

We even watched the vice-presidential debates at the Woodlawn tap. Turned it into interactive theatre, if I recall.

I'm pretty sure we'll be doing another one soon.

25. Interesting combo
I was a history major once upon a time though I'm now pursuing a career in medicine--just came back from a nasty biochem exam as a matter of fact.

What made you choose bio and english?
