On my SBC Global startpage: "Virgin Mary Grilled Cheese Sandwich?" |
|
The headline reads, "Meet the 52-year-old woman who claims to have discovered the Virgin Mary in her lunch ten years ago."
Wasn't there a time when people like that were put not on the news, but in the looney bin?

My question is this - the sandwich is TEN YEARS OLD????? EWWWWWWW!
Here's a good one for you...
A statue of Jesus washed up in a Texas town not long ago...there are now two religious groups in the town fighting over it, each claiming that it came to them. Good grief! The town is going to raffle it. My husband says someone should go throw another one in the water and then they can both shut up. This has been in the news here for days.

I wonder sometimes if these things aren't just put on TV to make Catholics look stupid. Why do these people have to be media representatives of our religion?
That's like using ODB or Louis Farrakhan as representatives of the African American community.
Agree? Disagree? Please tell.
