...I think he actually looks at himself as a southerner, i.e. Texas. However, the South is very complicated, and I don't want to offend our Texas brothers and sisters, but the deep South looks at Texas as part of the west, not the South. I'm sure those from Texas, and elsewhere, will think different, but I can assure them, the Southeast, which considers itself "the South" does not consider Texas as a part of it.
