Hey, How About the E-Bay cheese sandwich Virgin Mary
It should at least make Ripleys.

This woman has a ten year old cheese sandwich where the cheese formed the face of the Virgin Mary.

So far she has been offered about $5,000 for it.

1. Every time I see it, I want to vomit.

2. See, this is what we're up against.
You can't tell people like this cheese sandwich-owner (or its prospective buyer) that this is just a result of the grilling. That, given the laws of probability, eventually the brown bits on a grilled cheese sandwiches will invariably look like a face, much like the million monkeys banging out Hamlet.

You cannot offer reasoned, well-thought-out, scientific arguments in the face of complete insanity.

6. We're up against delusional cheese sandwich eaters?
Strap on your boots, boys, we're in it for a long slog...

3. Until I saw that I was a hopeless agnostic
Now I see the likely possibility that the same hand that created the universe toasted that divine impression unto the leavened bread of that sandwich.

From this day on lift up this holy message and let it be known as the miracle of "The grilled Cheeses of Nazereth".

"And unto this diety let life sprout where there was none...In the form of green mold spores."

Let us bless the beholder with money from E-Bay.

4. On the news, the lead in to the virgin grilled cheese story was deceptive

I thought the ebay sandwich in question was going to be one of Elvis' grilled banana and peanut butter sandwichs. Now THAT would have been impressive.

5. It doesn't look much like the Virgin Mary to me

Q: What do you put on a holy cheese sandwich?

A: Miracle Whip!

7. What's even funnier is all the knock-off auctions.

8. I Like Your's Better
But that cheese does look like a face - more a face out of a 40's picture. I don't know what the Virgin Mary looked like but I kind of doubt she looked like a cheese sandwich.

9. I am telling you, it is the girl on the Les Miserables ad. Check it out.

Not the Virgin Mary at all.

10. I doubt the Church will put its stamp of approval on this
I have a reason to be skeptical. I think it's some desperate person trying to make money, not a genuine apparition. Who ever heard of an apparition on food?
