Mostly just to lurk and read, though - I've hardly used my plastic.com membership in over a year (mostly because DU is faster-paced and more on top of breaking news), and registering at mefi is a huge pain, plus mefi's a flat format insted of threaded, which is a pain to read. But they're both great discussion sites.
