8 or 9 oz warmish water 3 Tblsp olive oil (for dough) 1 tsp salt 1 crushed clove of garlic or 1/2 to 1 tsp powdered (me, I go light) 2 Tblsp dried rosemary 1 Tblsp dried dill weed 1 Tblsp active dry yeast 1 Tblsp sugar 2 eggs
Beat all of the above together.
Add 3 cups of bread flour until you get a nice satiny ball of dough.
(Me, I cheat and do my mixing in a bread maker. *g*)
Put in greased bowl with deep sides, cover with damp cloth and leave in a warm place until doubled in size.
When dough is ready, grease clean dry cookie sheet with olive oil. Sprinkle 1/2 TBLSP of kosher or sea salt on the pan. (You may find this is too salty for you. You'll have to experiment with this.)
Grease hands with oil and spread dough onto sheet, but don't go thinner than 1/2 an inch unless you are using this recipe for pizza crust. (FORGOT TO ADD: smear a liberal amount of oil over the bread once it is formed.)
Sprinkle another 1/2 TBLSP salt on top, along with Parmesan cheese. (Me I go light on it, others prefer lots.)
Bake at 350 until golden brown on top, but be careful not to over-bake.
