1. Bummer, Fry guy

How soon can you take it again? Do you have to take the whole thing, or can the scores from sections you passed carry forward?

2. Oh my gosh
I am so sorry for you. You will pass it the next time. JFK junior didn't pass it until the third try, but he did pass it. Take comfort knowing that it is the most difficult bar exam to pass. When you do pass, you will be smarter than all the red state lawyers combined!!!

7. Oh, I'm sorry fryguy.
The NY Bar is a hard one to pass on the first time.

Remember JFK, Jr. didn't pass the first time, but he did on the 2nd try. I know that's not much comfort now.

You probably have to feel bad and then angry and all that before you can think about scheduling the next try.

Peace.

8. Well that sucks
I failed the CPA the first and only time I took it. I only took to get grandfathered so I wouldn't need the equivalent of a master's degree to take it.

Head up! Get it next time.

11. That sucks. But remember....
JFK Jr. took the damn thing several times before passing. You're in good company.

And he's dead, too, so you've got one up on him there.

16. Do they have a meeting for the people
who didn't pass? I know when my friend failed the bar in NJ they had a meeting where people actually were able to talk to the bar examiners who wrote the questions. If they offer this in NY, it may really help focus you for next time. Just a little unasked for advice. Hang in there.

18. Group hug!
:grouphug: You'll do better next time.

I understand it's not uncommon. I've also heard that the bar exams may not directly reflect what you learned in law school. There was a guy, I think in Denver, who passed but never went to school. He took a bar exam class.

Go figure.
