Help! Music gurus - Identify this song lyric.

Sorry, it's not much and I'm not sure if the words are right, but I've heard it on the radio a few times and would like to know who sings it.

This is the one line I can kind remember:


"light up, light up, as if you had a choice. . ."

(At first I thought it was "rise up" but heard it today and it sounds like "light up")

There's also a bit about "something beautiful," but that's about all I can get out of my brain right now.
