Why can't I find CD-RW discs anymore? |
|
I usually buy spindles of 50 discs at a time, and fill them with MP3s over several months. (Yeah, I'm one of those people.) Anyway, I'm running short so I went to the local techo mart to pick up some more and find none! Lots of CD-Rs, DVD-Rs & DVD-RWs - no CD-RWs!
This is some sort of anti-filesharing conspiracy, isn't it?

3. Re-writeables are fading as a viable concept |
|
With increased storage on cd-r disks, and now with about 4gb capacity on dvd disks, re-writeables aren't needed. Besides they never did work exceptionally well in the real world. Good riddance to a bad concept, sez I.
