Do you believe in ghosts?

1. I'm a skeptic.

I'm not ruling out the possibility that ghosts exist. There's a lot of great evidence that they do.

What really shoots me towards the fact that ghosts exist is the show "Weird Travels" on the Travel Channel. It's a great show and has a lot of great evidence that ghosts in fact do exist.

3. It's not a matter of "believing"...

...I've had to deal with the damned things on a number of occasions. They're a real pest.

4. I said yes, however...

I am a died-in-the-wool arch-skeptic. (I DO NOT, for example, believe in astrology or Atlantis or bigfoot or alien abductions.) There's no way I would have believed in ghosts until I moved into a haunted house and lived with two ghosts for a couple of years.

I checked "yes", but in fact I don't "believe" in ghosts, I simply "know" them to be real beyond any possibility of doubt, and beyond any need to "believe".

Don't ask me to "prove" it to you. I couldn't prove it to anyone any more than anyone could have proven it to me before my own very personal experience, experimentation, and investigation.

5. Yes,

I've heard two ghosts, the second was in the company of my then fiance who was terrified by it. My mother, father & sister have all seen ghosts. My fathers house has a harmless ghost that no one has seen but many have heard. My husband saw something in my father's house that made him leave at 3 am, we're not sure what it was.
I am terrified of dead people, that's my biggest nightmare fear, but these ghosts have never scared me (not yet anyway...knock wood).
The ghost my mother saw was very frightening she says, but it was over 35 years ago and she's experienced nothing since.

I definitely believe in ghosts.
I prefer to not see or hear them, but I have.

I just remembered that I DID see a ghost. I forgot completely! I was really little, I think 8.
