OK, get this: My gay roommate has fathered a child!
And here she is:

Seems Patrick was the sperm donor so that his sister's spouse (they're lesbians) could become pregnant.

So, while Patrick flies out to Oregon this weekend to see the baby, I'll be home in Connecticut trying to figure out if Patrick is the kid's father, uncle, or some other permutation that hasn't yet crossed my mind! :eyes:

2. She's a cutie!
Biologically, of course he's the child's father. But in the family sense, he's her uncle. :)

5. She's so beautiful!!
But what a wonderful way for the mommies to both be biolically related to the baby. I think that is the perfect solution. *g*

17. actually, he's the dad.....
since he's not related in any other way to the biological female parent.

23. Technically he is the father, but I am sure the kid would rather
call him dad.

If I were able to donate an egg so that my bro and his g/f could have a baby, I'd be fine with being called Autnie. But maybe that's just me. :)

9. By the way, the munchkin has Patrick's nose!
I really envy Patrick, coming from such a happy, close-knit family. Makes me even more aware of just how fucked-up my own family was (is). :(

I don't think it's at all unusual.

"Eeeeeeeeeeew! That's so gross."

Well, shove it up your ass, losers! I bet Patrick's sister and her wife make far better parents than you Mongloids ever will.
