Anyone Ever Seen 'The Triplets of Belleville' ? |
|
This is such a charming movie! Honestly, one of the cutest films I've seen in such a long time. And the time and effort put into the animation really shows. I absolutely love it! :)

2. Yeah, Triplets of Belleville rules |

Did you get to see 'Destino' play before it? The Walt Disney and Salvador Dali cartoon collaboration? Your jaw will be dropped the whole time.

but I LOVED it...the grandmother with the whistle cracked me up :) The frogs were a bit disconcerting though...but I think that was the point.

4. The grandmother is the cutest thing ever. |
|
She just never gives up!
My favourite part is when she's pretending to be blind and waiting at the street corner and that boy scout won't leave her alone, trying to help her cross the street, and she keeps hitting him with her stick but he just won't go away! HAHA! :D

Loved it! Especially how the old lady helped her (grand)son relax after a bike ride.

Loved the music, the jabs at Disney, the sly little jokes in the background, the lack of dialogue---it was brilliant!

9. Funny, anti-American film! |
|
Americans are fat and have stupid chase scenes in their movies. That's the message I got. I loved the scene where the car exploded from running into the baby carriage.
And no, I'm not being sarcastic, it was a great film.
