How is there not a Home Improvement and Maintenance Group?
Anyone up for this? I envision advice and pointers to sites containing good advice as well as recommended area contractors/installers and possibly even a "Great Deal on X over a Store Y"

The group could also cover home decorating.

Any takers?

3. I think these may have cross-over but they are really two
different groups. While a lot of woodworking cover home improvement issues, not all woodworking does and certainly not all home improvement involves woodworking

8. Is that for your 4th home? Or...
... did you screw it up the first three times? ;-)

9. Depends who you ask.
I think I did screw up the first one pretty good. In the end, things turned out fine, but I did spin my wheels a lot.

Actually, our current home (our 4th) has had the most work.

So I wouldn't mind sharing my experiences while they're still fresh in my mind.

:-)
