Black & White photos are actually MORE expressive than color

PBase has some of the BEST photographers around.,. Kill some time there..

This one is a "lump-in-the-throat" picture, if there ever was one :)

4. I've always found B&W more dramatic than color...
however (I'll get flamed to death for this) film beats digital for dramatic effect.

I did the whole b&w thing at Joshua Tree (real original, I know), but they turned out beautifully. I've used b&w film a lot since then. Very expressive medium.

Not that I'm anywhere near a professional, or even an enthusiastic amateur, but they definitely are my favorite kind of pictures to take!

I love black and white photography, it's just HARD to make it work right :)

13. I've been doing exclusively B&W for over 5 years now... I've even..
scanned some colors and had them printed as B&W. They're beautiful.
