1. I knew it
B was the most boring, it had to be Reagans.

Bomb it.

11. I went to that one about a week after he died...
a friend was in town and wanted to see it. We had both heard Reagan speak at our high school in October 1984 and it was a big deal in our small town in WV.

Anyway, there is a lot of scenic beauty in Simi Valley, but the library is a bit of a bore and packed with scary republicans and someone hired Edward Scissorhands to trim the shrubs into elephant shapes.

I'm not ashamed to say that I was frightened and threw up a little bit in my mouth.

13. JFK
I don't like it from this photo either, but it probably looks better in person since it is on the water

35. JFK's (d) is absolutely gorgeous in person. Sits on the water, and
his sailboat is outside that tall window. Inside marvelous exhibits breathe with life -- in the oval office: his desk, the rocking chair and all the other pieces that surrounded him. Also rooms about the space program, civil rights, the new frontier, and the peace corps. They have a movie theatre and added exhibits about Jackie and JFK, Jr.

Also, the people who work inside were very nice. That always says a lot about any museum or "tourist" place.

I've been twice and each time has been a wonderful experience.
The picture above doesn't do it justice.

10. well, I am trying to decide if "B" is Nixon's or Reagan's
It is obviously in California, though and has that Santa Barbara look to it. I would wager it looks much better than in this photo when you are actually there.

E is Bill's and the rendering does not do it justice. It hangs over the river ...across I30 from down town Little Rock. Much prettier than the architect's rendering.

Love the landscaping on the Carter library

31. I like the Carter design too
It was the landscaping that won me over. Fits Carter perfectly.
If the Clinton library is more dramatic than that I could change my vote, but his and jfk'S the worst looking to me.

34. you need to see the actual pictures or the building itself
It hangs out over the Arkansas River.. I esp like the view from the end looking out over the river..there is an old bridge there that is part of the property. It is just neat looking that's all.

plus they cleaned out an old abandoned warehouse district to build it and of course new stuff is poppin up all over.

36. I've passed Clinton's library several times. You should see it at night.
When it's lit up at night, it looks gorgeous. In the daytime - well - it's butt-ugly IMHO.

If it's the Reagan library, vacancy would be quite fitting.

33. Honestly, I don't like any of them
The landscaping on C looks nice so I'll give it points for that but the building is ugly.

A looks like a courthouse.

B looks like either a rehab or a prison (same thing, really).

D is one of those "modern" looking places that seems cold and sterile.

And E looks like something out of a space flick.
