| Headin' to Northern CA for Final Marching Band Comp Tomorrow... |

Gawd, I can't believe this season is almost over, and how much more I love it now than I used to! Postin' this now cause I have a final four hour practice tonight, and with a guest staying in the computer room, I won't have access to it.
So basically we're excused from all classes tomorrow, except zero (so I STILL have to wake up at 6 AM), and we leave the school at 9 AM. The trip'll take eight or nine hours, and it's in the Concord/Pleasant Hills area that I guess that is pretty near Berkley. We room with three others, and have pizza in our rooms! Then Saturday we wake up early, perform in the prelims, and pray to whatever is out there that we make it to finals (we haven't been doing that well this year seeing we jumped from 2A to 4A...big change)! And after that all unfolds, we leave around 10 or so the next day and get back late to Southern California.

Not that I'm telling you to sneak out or anything, but if you do, and you want to do it safely... http://bart.gov/index.asp will give you the train schedule and http://sfgate.com http://sfweekly.com and http://sfbg.com will give you the haps. But I'm not telling you to sneak out and have a great time in the East Bay. Not at all. |
