I just finshed my first victim statement as re my ID theft. And I've shredded since '85. Can't stress the importance of shredding enough.

6. I was going to suggest

that you change your name to Arthur Anderson. Too bad you got the super-duper, diamond shredder. The strip shredder creates great packing material. Diamonds don't work too well.

On edit: you could put them in plastic garbage bags, seal them and use for packing. It's actually what I do with the strips.

13. I have a paper shredder too

but I've read to be careful with them unless they shred very finely.
Mine does not shred finely, so if some nut wants to sit at the garbage dump and try to piece the shredding they could do this.
I also need to be careful how I shred. Watch when you first shred to be sure any ID cannot be detected. Just a warning to be very careful.
