a probably stupid question...
To put an outside image (not an avatar) in your signature, do you have to be a donor?

1. No, it just has to be on a working webserver that isn't blocked by DU.
Some sites, like geocities for example, won't work because DU blocks their urls. It's also a good guideline to try and keep it under 20k or so.
