I had a bizarre dream - it's related to the culture of fear
Alright, the dream is very short. I'm walking through a random city or town and some guy in a gas mask starts chasing me and yelling shit to me (racist shit). I know immediately why he's wearing the gas mask. He's being freaked out by terrorists.

He keeps saying I'm going to kill him and stuff. He chases me a little. I ask him why he thinks I'm going to kill him. Finally I decide to chase him a little...

That's when I wake up. I had another dream related to Bush and politics...and it really disturbed me. I've had politically related dreams before (even one before the election with Bush winning in a landlide).

What's even more weird is the dream is making me want to leave the country more than ever.

1. If you have a dream about Kerry
a DUer known as 'dreamcollector' wants to hear your story.

I think you are correct in your assessment that your dream is about the culture of fear that we've been creating ever since 9/11. Possibly since before then.

2. I had a dream that [nothing about politics]
Edited on Fri Nov-19-04 02:59 AM by darkism
the girl I happen to be crushing on at the moment (who, sadly, is taken) was driving to my house and ran over a rabbit. She came to the door in tears and pointed to a big pool of blood at the end of the driveway, illuminated by the headlights of her still-running car, before giving me the longest and squeeziest hug I've ever had inside a dream or out.

How freaking weird is that.

3. Have you ever fantasized about being a hero to her?
Maybe about being there for her when she's down? If so that could be the root of the dream.

4. That is weird
Yeah it certainly does sound like you have a crush.

BTW I'm not into dream analysis, but I wonder if dead rabbits symbolize something.

5. I had a weird political dream, too.
And the meaning was obvious to me.

I was walking around somewhere, by a river or lake, on a nice day. The sky was blue and the sun was shining. I kept seeing the Capitol Building across the water, and out of the corner of my eye.

Then, as I walked along, the building kept getting bigger and bigger. It was as though it was following me. Pretty soon, it was big enough to blot out the horizon. It was bigger than it is in real life. It was across the river, right next to me, and HUGE.

Then I woke up.

Obviously, I am afraid of the current government chasing me.

Normally, I think the Capitol Building is beautiful.
