Why does my sister put up ice trays with only one or two cubes left?

:grr: It just drives me crazy. I've asked over and over. If there are only a few left, go ahead and fill the damn thing up. It's such a little thing but bugs me to no end.

I have a container to put ice cubes in, and just dump the whole tray there. Then I fill the ice cube tray and make more ice cubes.

4. Happens in this house all the time.

Husband uses ice all the time, and I don't, especially in the winter.
I don't always notice when the trays are near empty, and you'd think he would. Yet he complains to me when he only has 1 ice cube for his drink. This is pretty much the story for the last 25 years. Aahh, marital bliss.

If she fills up the tray, that's two ice cubes wasted. Unless she takes them out and sticks them randomly in the freezer.

I'll pry out the two good ones if I'm that desperate and need something before they all freeze. Or she could put them in another partially filled tray, since she does the same thing will all four of them. :grr:

10. that is better than just leaving the totally empty ice trays in the

freezer for you to fill up. perhaps if you don't bug her about it, and leave them there long enough for her to go fetch ice when there is none in them, or not near enough the number of ice cubes that she wants, she might reconsider and start filling them up with water before she totally runs out of ice cubes.
