My oldest son just got engaged
This past year has been hell for this family, so there was no place to go but up. Finally, something to smile about.

14. Congrats, but you might want to suggest they hold off on
having kids for awhile. I would hate to bring kids into the world the way things are going. I have a 12 and 14 year old, and I am really distressed about their futures.

oh I have a feeling they will wait for awhile..but knowing my son, he will want kids, just like I did when I was 26...I am starting over again in my life, albeit very very slowly, and still in grief over my husbands death...so this is a bit of a bright spot for me that one of my kids is happy ..he had such a hard time when my husband died, he saw the accident right after it happened..so its really amazing to see him happy, finally, and so looking forward to getting married...hes known this girl since they were little kids..
I do worry for my grandchildren ..whenver they decide to have them..
