How do I do emoticons in my posts? I've done a couple by accident, but I want to know how to do more.

Also, when can I start discussion threads so I can ask stupid questions without having to wait for someone to volunteer? LOL

There is a link to the "smilies lookup table". If you just type in "standard" smilies like : ) only without the space, they will show up as emoticons :)

I'm not sure what the post count for starting threads is, I donated early on and circumvented that.
