It depends upon what I've been drinking.

churn the gut.

2. Incandescent Rage
Edited on Fri Nov-19-04 12:52 PM by sui generis
1. The election was stolen in 2000, and we just plain don't know in 2002 and 2004 in spite of all efforts to the contrary.

2. Decades of careful environmental work and reconstructive work are about to be undone in a singe stroke

3. Each of us has the blood of over 100,000 Iraqi civilians on our hands, because we were dragged into a war over oil and vengeance. We've killed and changed our own children too by sending them there and keeping them there.

4. A bunch of Americans got off their lazy asses to vote for no other reason than to discriminate in a devastatingly personal way against millions of other Americans whom they have never met and never will meet.

You bet your ass I'm mad. I've been gut churning angry for four years already, now it's white hot.

6. Hell, I am glad the sucker won
Maybe I should have voted for Schadenfreude. He's automatically a lame duck, only he and his Pug majority can be directly blamed for what goes wrong (and by luck anything that goes right), and I expect a major scandal to hit with the Administration before the end of the second term.

11. Gut churning anger and
a general discomfort in my own skin. I wonder how to relate anymore to those people who voted for this guy. I don't think I feel really ggod being a member of this society right now. That will most likely settle down after a while but the anger will remain, of that I am certain.

and make constructive use of them, with protest, legal awareness, art, music, etc.
