Rough Winter or Not..What do YOU think? |

Im thinking Texas will be wet wet wet and one ice day and one snow day. Anyone else think its going to be a wet one? A blizzard where you are?
I would like to hear predictions.

AND a lot of snowpack in the Sierras. Otherwise...
Should be colder than normal in the mid-atlantic and possibly the Northeast, warmer in the Northwest (at least that is what I remember from the long range forecast on the Weather channel).

One January there was a total of 15 MINUTES of sunshine in the entire month (Columbus). Brrrrr. No kidding.

Two of the local TV stations are predicting below normal temperatures and above normal snowfall.Normal is 19.5",last year 17.5" record is 66",31" in one storm.A white christmas would be nice.Chances in this area,25%.

from the middle of TX up, thats about what we all get. But who knows, we may get more! I do like the snow alright.

Much earlier than last year. It was my first New England winter, and even though there was a blizzard, apparently it wasn't *that* big of a deal :think:

Back in June I predicteed the DFW area would be wet and cold. Not alot of ice and snow days, but that the cold days would hang around longer than usual and be a littler colder than normal.
Still feels that way to me! but, I've only lived here for 4 years and spent the previous 12 in NC -- so,,,what do I know???
