Are any of you a loner? I am. It's a Friday night and I'm stuck inside my apartment, alone. :( It's not by choice, though. All my friends graduated last spring (I'm a fifth year senior in college). And since I'm graduating in the spring, I don't feel like taking the time to meet new people (and I'm kind of shy when it comes to meeting new people).

So...I'm going to sit here by myself and down some tequila and maybe play some Doom 3.

Sigh.

Edit: My roommate (DU Username: Jack Schitt) actually has a life. I probably won't see him all weekend.

I always picked on my brother for playing those games, and then I got really bored last summer...I was totally addicted to Diable for about 2 months.

I could be with my family right now since I have next week off but I'd rather hang out by myself in my apartment. I'm not leaving until Sunday. I told them I have stuff to do but I really don't. And I don't have a good excuse to stay here later.

11. The worst thing is that I actually have quite a few friends...

But whenever I try to do something, or set up something to hang out with them (like wait for them at the campus bar), they never show up. I usually never run into them on campus, either. They like me a lot, but now that football season is over (most of these friends are players, staff emmbers, etc.), I haven't been seeing them lately.

Maybe I'll go lift weights tomight...

I have to go clean carpets at Symantec in the morning. Fun, fun, fun... And I won't get a new bike until Monday so a lack transportation is also keeping me at home. Sigh.. At least I have a rack of beer in the fridge.

No, really. We like (most) people just fine. But we can be just as happy on our own. I think one of the many reasons we married each other is that we are our own exception to our "lonerness."

I've always preferred my own company. I used to get jealous, sometimes, of my more gregarious peers. But, in truth, I like my peace of mind.
