3. I much prefer boiled custard to egg nog
most commercial egg nogs have too much nutmeg in them.

7. Eggnog Ice Cream
If you run a good quality Eggnog through an ice cream machine you will have the most yummy frozen delight. I love it frozen, plain or even warm in coffee or chai.

8. neutral
Too rich for me to consume much, but its a x-mas tradition, especially while baking cookies or decorating tree. Must have booze, though. Rum, whiskey, or bourbon (whatever is handy) and extra nutmeg/cinnamon.

10. I love eggnog, but prefer homemade.
If I can find some pasteurized eggs this year, I'll make my own.

Otherwise, I cut my eggnog - about two parts eggnog, one part regular milk. Otherwise, it's too thick.

If I'm feeling frisky, I'll cut the eggnog with brandy instead of milk. ;)
