Will this stop us from being a pill-popping nation?
There are several threads about an FDA insider questioning the safety of five popular drugs and the FDA spokeswoman replying that they are safe and how these news stories scared many people.

But the question that many should ask is why are Americans the most medicated people in the world? Why do we prescribe and swallow pill for every imperfection in our daily lives?

Drugging kids and bonning old men while keeping the costs of medications highest than in any other industrial nation is a disgrace.

Several months ago some "experts" called for lowering our cholesterol to yet another low level recommending, of course, to medicate us. And my first reaction, then, was why do "they" want to medicate all of us.

So I will continue to live life as I do, to try to eat healthy and to exercise, but will enjoy an occasional juicy hamburger and eggs Benedict. And I won't be the skinniest person in the cemetery.

2. That's scary. This leads to drinking more bottled water
which is a lot more expensive than gasoline, on a per gallon cost.
