Your favorite city in all the world
Discounting your home "town", what city in all the world would you consider your favorite? It can't be someplace you haven't visited, though--it needs to be someplace you have visited, and spent some time in, at least enough to know what the city is all about.

My favorite, other than Boston (my home town) has to be Toronto. I've spent time in some big cities other than home (New York, D.C., L.A., Vegas, Edinburgh, London, Glasgow, Dublin) but Toronto is just so cool. It's not so huge that you can't be comfortable there, there is an excellent blend of culture, shopping, restaurants, attractions, wide variety of people, complete friendliness, less crime and just a really nice feel to it. If I could afford it, I would move there because in many ways it feels like home to me.

24. Paris. Rome. Firenze. Paris.
I love Paris.
Six times and I haven't worn out my welcome or my excitement.
I've never had a "bad" encounter. Paris in the rain. Mais oui, certainment.

Twice I've traveled to Paris alone.
Once I was stopped on the street by a very attractive man who whisked me off to dinner where he struggled with English, I struggled with French and we had a fabulous, lengthy meal and political, social, culture discussion. With great wine!

Meanwhile, I love wherever I am -- life is a gift that gets better every time it's OPEN.
