5. Ah the things we do when we can plan ahead. |
|
If you knew you might die in any next given minute, what would you do?
And how is this different from the reality you live in now? Enjoy everything and everyone like it might be the last minute you have. What else is there?

6. Travel and make peace with everyone |
|
My mother's half brother's wife did this with her husband in the months before she died of lung cancer. To me it seems like the right thing to do to see everyone before you die so that there will be no regrets. It is good to travel to places that you'd always wanted to see as well as places that you have enjoyed in the past to feel like you've experienced enough of this world. Partying hard is just a waste of what little time you have left. Most people who are told that they have a year to live are experiencing rapidly decling health and heavy drug or alcohol use is likely to push up the date of demise. It may also lower your remaining quality of life and be less enjoyable than when you were healthy anyway.

7. Start that extended bicycle tour I've been thinking about. |
|
Gotta be some women out there wanting a "Bridges of Madison County" thing for a few days with a strange fat man on a touring bike....
Be just my luck that a few months of bikin' and babes would cure whatever it was I was dieing from, then I'd have to come home and get a job....:-(
