My iMac G5 left the Fedex Center in Shanghai Saturday morning, went through the Alaska sort center, then zipped down to Memphis tis morning at 4:18 am :bounce:
My hunch is that MAYBE Fedex wil ship it to my local center(Norfolk/VA Beach) and perhaps bring it tomorrow moring while I'm at work. Id much prefer they bring it on Tuesday--when I'll be off from work. I must admit, it's really cool follwoing it from China, to Alaska, to the lower 48 in Memphis. Way to go Fedex and Apple!
As for my iMac DV 400? I'll make sure I clear it of my personal info and apps, then let my twin sister have it. Meanwhile, I want to get the iSight and a new printer before or on Christmas. The HP printers look really good. And I'll probably get a new iPod in February.
Will I be taking photos on the big day? Why of course

:-( oh well no big problem. My sister will be home, so she'll sign off for the Fedex guy and ring the box up to my room. I'll get some blank cd-r discs to start making some backup copies of my photo and iTunes libraries.
urrently on the Fedex ramp in Norfolk :bounce:

I almost brought an iBook G4, but sory ass CompUSA didn't have any. so I decided, if I'm going to spend my money with Apple, I might as well go for the biggest, baddest one I can get.
Tell your husband thank you for helping make such a wonderful machine availale to us mere mortals :-)

6. Well, perhaps you should put a star |
|
on your shopping list as well. :hi:
BTW, I'm jealous. I have a really nice set up at work — a G5 with a 21-inch monitor — but that doesn't come home with me.

11. Sorry, had to laugh for a second. |

I understand your situation, but it struck me as funny that someone could afford a Mac G5, and not a star :)
