I am guessing most of these people are "I love the Beatles, I have all of their Greatest Hits albums" types. In my experience, most people that "love" the Beatles have never fully heard the album Let It Be.

Most of them probably worship the song Taxman. But I don't think they realize that it was a sarcastic take on Britan's very high tax rate. They probably see it as a protest against something like an evil progressive tax that would make a billionare pay over 18%.

These FReepers are clueless assholes. These are the same people who say they love the movie Dr. Strangelove. Apparently they are missing something in the message if that is the case.
These are also the same kind of people who talk about how much they love the album Animals, by Pink Floyd, and then tell you what a conservative Roger Waters is.
