what does it mean if my coolant low light comes on in my car but
only when I take a wide left turn?

going straight or taking right turns it's fine. But a wide left turn usually pops the light on a bit.

2. It means...
... that the sensor is on one side of the tank and gravity is letting it dry when you turn.

You need to add coolant or it won't need gravity to make it dry :)

3. You said that very well..
:)

Also make sure you add the type that is recommended for you vehicle. I used to think they were all the same. Now I know better.

7. Don't add straight coolant
Mix it with water, at least 50/50, otherwise it will be too thick and you'll really be up shit creek.

9. They have premixed coolant now
I buy Honda coolant for my car and Prestone for my wife's and both come as 50/50 premix. The Prestone comes that way for convenience (and also so the Prestone people can charge you nearly as much for the watered-down stuff as for the full-strength), the Honda because if you mix it wrong it has a negative effect on your radiator.

If the sensor light goes on, the sensor is okay.

6. would it mean that you are just low enough
that when your turn, the fluid moves away from the sensor and causes it to think it is low. when you correct the fluid balances out and appears to your sensor to be full again. so you are just a little low.
like i know....lol
