26. We try to be good neighbors.
Edited on Sun Nov-21-04 06:45 PM by Padraig18
The neighbors on both sides of us are older, retired people, and we try to do things to help out, like shoveling their walks, sharing stuff from our garden, etc. . We like both sets very much, and thankfully, they're all Democrats, too.

:)

35. I LOVE squash: I am making a squash casserole for
Thanksgiving dinner.

I think instead of steaming the squash I will cut it in half and grill it with the chicken. That is good too.

19. Interesting question
Since I'm going to my parent's house in a few days, I wasn't planning on going to the store--so, there's not much to eat around here. Anyone mind a guest for dinner?

32. Ok then...
Gucchi Saag: Fresh spinach and mushrooms cooked in mild spices

Shahi Korma: Fresh vegetables (carrots, cauliflower, peas, greenbeans, onions, tomatoes, and potatoes) and homemade cheese (though they forgot the cheese this time) with mild spices.

But the Indian view of "mild" is still pretty spicy if you ask me.

It came with a side of cooked spicy new potatoes and we got an order of nan, which is leavened white flour bread.

34. I love Indian food, starting to think a takeaway might be in order
from my local Indian pink tablecloth dining room.

My favorite veg dish is the cauliflower/potato/green pea dish.
