Opinions needed: VOIP (Voice over internet protocol)
I posted this in the Computer questions group, but I thought I would pick your brains, too.

My husband has ordered Packet 8 equipment and will use their service. Anyone know of things to look out for? Anyone using VOIP that could give me your thoughts? Thanks!

1. Sipura VOIP adapters
I have the Sipura SPA-2000 and so does my friend in England. Here is a link to the company we bought from: https://store.voxilla.com/customer/home.php?cat=248. Shipping is free. Costs are good.

My daughter & son-in-law have a Linksys. Don't think much of the quality of it vs. the Sipura.

2. Just about everyone uses VOIP without knowing it.
VOIP is very, very common. If you make a long distance call chnces are very good that you're using it. As long as you have a good high speed access line you'll have little or no problems.
