some of you mentioned how encouraging it is to see young people so involved and informed. well i'm 19, and it's encouraging for me to come across older folks who DON'T talk down to me or think they know more than me just because you have more years under your belt.

it used to drive me up the wall when people would ignore me or worse condescend to me when I stated an opinion - especially because a lot of the time I had a FAR better grasp of the issue at hand than they did.

Not exactly that old as of yet but I'm pretty sure I'll never discount someone because of their age, I've had really interesting conversations with 13 year olds and 93 year olds.

I may be different, I do not know, but I haven't changed much in my
thoughts and beliefs since I was about 14. I have just gotten a little more experience,, which hasn't changed me. I now recognize things more quickly than I did. I support you. No matter what a persons age is, if that person wants to be treated with respect then
he/she needs to act respectfully. If not, then they will be ignored or treated like a child.
