7. Yes, lately
That was actually my breakfest, but started a lunch thread since it's about lunch time on the east coast where most of our DUers are from. For the last 2 days I've been on a posting rampage, watch out or you might get trampeled. :D Anyways, how are you? :hi:

12. I knew you were from Philly without looking....

Thanks for saying "hoagie"... People look at me like I have two heads when I say "hoagie"... I have to clarify, um, sub... sub? What the hell is a sub? In Philly, we call it a hoagie... We invented it so we should be able to call it what we want...

And by the way, unless you've had a Philly hoagie, you haven't had a sub... Greenmans in the Northeast is my personal fav...

14. Does the hoagie actually have to be from Philly itself
Or can it be a "Philly style" hoagie? If it is the latter then I have had one of those.

18. No babe, sorry...

Amoroso bread only delivers in Philly and surrounding areas so it must be FROM Philly to be a true Philly hoagie...

Hey, there's a reason to visit Philly right there... :)

24. You crack me up...

My family wants to know what's so funny... I guess they heard me laughing all the way downstairs...

Hey, the Eagles play the Giants this weekend AT Giants stadium... My 15 year old daughter who's a huge Eagles fan is begging me to go...

I swear, that kid is trying to get me killed! The last time I took her to Giants stadium to see the Eagles play, we almost didn't escape with all of our limbs in tact thanks to her big mouth... Yeah, she's real bad with her mother standing there... :)

16. Don't let Underpants see this post!
He thinks our regional pride about sandwiches is overblown...

I agree with you, of course. It's because of the rolls. You can't have a good hoagie on anything but an Amoroso roll. :)

I haven't had lunch yet, but I sure am in the mood for an Italian hoagie now - thanks a lot - make me spend even more time at the gym

27. I ordered an italian!
They were out of genoa salami. So then I ordered turkey and they were out. Then I ordered the ham and cheese and they were out of provolone and I'm thinking, "Man I'm going to the next cart! This is bull!" But I didn't feel like waiting in line more, so I said, "Okay, well, whatever you have."

When I got back to the office and unwrapped it, she had put SHREDDED MOZZARELLA CHEESE on my ham sandwich. :puke: I had to scrape it off to eat the sandwich, it was just too gross. Who does that?

33. Lunch started for me at 10:30
I had my first of two peanut-butter-and-banana sandwiches at 10:30. I just finished eating a cheese quesadilla on whole-wheat tortilla at 12:30. I'll probably eat my second PBB at 3:00, with an apple and a banana thrown into the mix for health measures.

Moo. I like grazing.
