20. The shocked thing is a catch phrase of mine
so appropriate for the politics these days. I used it yesterday as a matter of fact...They ran it a couple of Fridays ago on the PBS station here-no ads!

18. I like the bit
where Louie introduces Rick to Strosser.

Rick says something like "I have no ideology, I'm a drunkard."

And Louie says, "That makes him a citizen of the world!" :-)

"You must remember this

As sung by gravely voiced Duley Wilson...no one has ever done it better!

22. The first one. What was actually said was (all in the movie)
Ilsa: "Play it, Sam. Play "As Time Goes By"
(later)
Rick: "Sam, I thought I told you never to play. . ."
(later)
Rick: "If she can stand it, I can! Play it!"

24. When Peter Lorre's character says to Rick....
"You don't like me very much. Do you, Rick?"
Bogart replies (I'm not sure of the EXACT quote),
"I don't think about you that much, but if I did, I probably wouldn't."
